RGB (red, green, blue)

CMYK(cyan, magenta, yellow, black)

• narrow gamut; fewer colors; less

brilliance

Different computers, monitors, software programs, file formats, and input and output

devices (e.g. cameras, scanners, printers) each have their own color profiles! Trying

to control and maintain color accuracy is a major challenge for a digital artist.
