This delicate and graceful flowerbud still shows good detail in Dominican amber that dates from ca. 20-25
million years ago. Approximate magnification x 20. I do not know the plant of origin -- can anyone identify
it? The image has been slightly digitally enhanced, but this is very close to its natural appearance.
